The doc said I was dead for a minute or two. I saw this white light and when it cleared a little - there they were... wall to wall Harley's... Man, it was beautiful. I knew I was in heaven...

Flipper & Jake
These pictures were taken at Brenda's in Waukon Iowa on on the Romper room ride.
(2004) As bikes were leaving the parking lot, I asked a few of them to wave at
my special friend Jake. Many did. Many waved and entertained as they left. One
bike stopped. As flipper got off, Jake began to smile. Flipper visited with him
and took several pictures. One week later Jake got a nice letter and picture.
This simple act of kindness gave Jake a wonderful memory. Jake was made to feel
special by someone taking a few minutes to touch his life. Becky

The HOG stays at Metro...
In a stunning victory for the Metro HOG Chapter, the HOG Traveling Trophy
(between Metro and Hawkeye of Coralville) for the chapter who has the most
members show up at the Annual "Live to Ride Ride to Eat Dinner Ride" will remain
in the HOG room at Metro Harley-Davidson for all to view (for at least another
year). We would like to invite our brothers and sisters from Hawkeye to stop in
and view the trophy HOG at any time - we may even buy you a donut. Thanks to all
that made the trip to Gus' in Coralville on 9-21-2004. Metro H.O.G. Chapter 1362
was well represented with 59 members!!
